- Each space comes with a context, you can add properties directly to the context and it will be associated with all of your notes.

- Choose one of the following properties which each gives you unique ways to represent your data both visually and systematically.

		- A compact yet versatile view, the card view creates cards that lets you visually preview your notes or group into a Kanban view.
	- **Table View**
		- Built for data, the table view gives you quick access to view and edit your data as well as shortcuts to sorting and filtering.
	- **Flow View**
		- Turn your context into a continuous document, the flow view lets you edit all the notes in your folder seamlessly.

## **Context Basics**
Contexts define a set of properties and views for any collection of notes whether it's in a folder, tag or a space depending on your form of organization. Folder contexts are great for focused folders like projects. Tag context are great for organizing the same type of notes across your notes such as media library. Space contexts are flexible for any research or organizing across different projects.

# Spaces - Organize Smarter
- Spaces are an easy yet powerful way to organize your system so that it can tailor to your workflow. 
# Default Spaces
- Default spaces help you quickly get started with Spaces. 
- The Home space is a quick way to organize your spaces. 
## Home Space
- The home space is a clean slate you can adding spaces or pinning items in order to quickly navigate to what you want to focus on.
## Tags Space
- The tags space allows you to navigate all of your spaces and manage your spaces.
## Vault Space
- The vault space is a space that contains all of the items in your system where you can find items to pin into your other spaces.
## Removing the Spaces Folder
- Every space is customizable and you can turn off the default space if you don't need them. 
- The spaces folder will no longer be created.
# Smart Search
- Smart search lets you create a customized filter of your system to find or connect your ideas, the filter will automatically update as your files change. 
## Smart Search in a Space
- You can add a smart search directly to a space, either create a new space or edit an existing space and click the Add Smart Search button. 
- The search results automatically refresh everytime something changes in your system so that it's always up to date.
## Navigator Smart Search
- You can also start a smart search by clicking the search icon in the navigator. 
- Smart searches can be added to a space which will automatically pin the items from the search directly into your space.

# Navigating your Spaces

- You can find the Navigator in the Navigator tab on the top left of the sidebar.
- The navigator tree contains everything in that space including pinned items.
- Spaces in the navigator can be expanded, opened in the [[Space View]], and insert notes, spaces and pins inside of your space.
- Notes can be opened in the [[Flow Editor]]

## Waypoints

- Waypoints is a quick way to open a space in the navigator.
- You will have the home space, tags space and your vault space added by default.

### Adding to Waypoints

- Click the + button in waypoints and choose the space you want to add
- Drag and drop a space from the navigator into the waypoints

### Reordering Waypoints

- Drag and drop your waypoints to reorder them

### Opening Waypoint in Space View

- Holding the command/control key, you can automatically open the waypoint to the space view.

### Removing from Waypoints

- Right click on any space and press unpin from space to remove it from waypoints

### Making a Space

- You can make a space by creating one from scratch, editing an existing folder or turning a note into a space.

1. In the Main Menu select Add Folder/Space button
2. Choose a name for your Space
3. Add pinned files or add a Smart Search

### Reordering in a Space

- You can reorder in any space by drag and dropping.
- Your space must be sort by custom in order to drag and drop.

### Pinning a Note/Space to a Space

- Notes and spaces can be pinned to a space so you can quickly access them.
- There are many ways to pin to a space.
  1.  Directly clicking pin to space in the Space View / Flow Editor
  2.  Right-clicking a note an clicking pin to a space
  3.  Right-click on the space and click Add Pin
  4.  Drag and drop a note/space into the space while holding shift


Navigator

- The Space View gives you full control of how you interact with all your Spaces. 
- You can add interactivity with buttons and links. 
- You can create custom layouts with groups and columns. 
- You can add custom styles with custom colors, fonts and sizes. 
- Connect context views, flow views from anywhere in your system. 

## Opening your Space View
- Find the space you want in the navigator and directly open the space view

## Customizing your Space View
- The spaces view can be customized with frames. 
- Frames makes it easy to add/remove anything from your system as well as customize it exactly the way you want. 

### Notes
- You can connect any notes from across your system in your Space View by embedding notes.

**Adding a Note**
- Select New Note or Existing Note from the add menu to add/link an existing note to your Space View.

**Customizations on Note View**
- You can apply styles to the entire note for example, text size, color or font. 

### Contexts
- You can add any context into your space view. 
- The context for the space is by default added to your space view and you can customize it however you want.

**Customizations for Context View**
- Make your context seamless in your space view by hiding the filter bar or make it the full width of the page.

### Divider
- Dividers give you a quick visual way to separate different parts of your space view. 

### Image
- Add resizable images to your Space View to give your Space some view flair.

- Select Image from the add menu and then select which image you want to add

### Column
- Layout the different frames in your spaces into columns. 

**Creating a Column**
- Drag and dropping into the right side of another frame will automatically create a new column.

### Button
- Add buttons that lets you quickly perform actions right from your Space.

1. Select the button from the add view
2. Give your button a label and an icon
3. Select the type of action you want (Run Command or Open Link currently available)
4. Select which command or link you want the button to run/goto

Space View

- You can leverage all the features and customization of spaces with your tags. 
- Tag spaces are turned on by default and you can find it in your Waypoints.
## Managing your Tags
- Open the tags space where you will see a list of all your tags. 
- You can rename tags or delete them which will apply the changes to all your notes.
## Pinning a Tag Space 
- You can pin it to Waypoints, Home or any other space
