
Blink is a new way to quickly search and edit your notes from anywhere in your workspace. Open the blink modal using a hotkey or in your spaces and find what you're looking for.

## Searching with Blink

Blink can search and allow you to instantly edit your Notes and Contexts, just type in what you're looking for and your note/context will be loaded

Add new properties or import your existing metadata to your contexts. Choose one of the following properties which each gives you unique ways to represent your data both visually and systematically.

- Text
	- Any text you want
- Number
	- Enter any integers or decimal numbers
- Date
	- Choose a date from the date picker and customize the format to display it in

	- A list of options that can be selected through dropdown
	- Support for multiple values

	- Toggle between a checkbox

	- Look up a property of another Link/Context/File field

## Creating a Folder Context

1. In Spaces or Blink, select the folder
2. A default context will be available which shows the list of view of the folder
3. Any customizations to your context will be saved in the folder context

1. In Spaces, goto the Tags tab and select a tag
2. A default context will be available which shows the list of view of the tag
3. Any customizations to your context will be saved in the tag context

1. In Spaces, select the Space
2. A default context will be available which shows the list of view of the space

## Extending Your Context
Add an existing context to your context to bring all the properties from that context into your current context.
1. Open the Context Builder
2. In the Contexts tab, press the + button
3. Find an existing tag to extend your context with
4. Select the tag and that context will be add
5. Select which properties from the extended context you want to display in the Properties tab

## Adding Existing Metadata to Contexts
1. Open the Context Builder
2. Select the Properties tab
3. In the metadata section, all the metadata that are in your files will be displayed
4. Select the metadata properties that you want to add

## Creating a Flow Block from Flow Menu
1. Create a new line in your notes where you want your Flow Block to be
2. Open the Flow Menu by typing your trigger key (/ by default)

Getting Started.md

Add a note to your folders with folder notes, great for summary pages or nesting pages within your notes. Folder notes have the same features as your regular notes including contexts.

## Accessing your Folder Note
1. Turn on the Folder Note settings.
2. Select a folder and select the tab in the top with the name of your folder
